What is the difference between 'CGC' and 'CBCS' grading?

Both CGC (Certified Guaranty Company) and CBCS (Comic Book Certification Service) are third-party grading companies. CGC is generally considered the more well-known and historically dominant grader, often commanding slightly higher prices. CBCS has gained popularity, offering faster turnaround times and sometimes more lenient grading. Both encapsulate comics in protective holders (slabs) after grading.
