Describe your class using: There is/ There are

My class is a small classroom in where we have just the necesary things. There is a blackboard on the front wall. There are a lot of chairs in the room. There is a professorship (catedra) in the corner of the classroom. There are desks all over the class. There is a small wardrobe next to the professorship. There are some panels on the walls and that's it. This is my class.
