As a medical assistant what do you say to a patient to dispel fears or concerns over receiving an xray

I’ve been shadowing for a while now and I’ve come to understand that understanding their fears by talking to the patient (essentially getting on their level of understanding) and voicing on the same level will make them feel better. Depending on the age, you can just turn the X-ray into a joke- like “This could give you superpowers!”
