1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet. 2. Open the ink tank cover. 3. Carefully remove the ink pad assembly. 4. Dip a lint-free cotton swab in Epson cleaning solution. 5. Gently clean the ink pad, moving the swab in one direction to avoid spreading ink. 6. Allow the ink pad to dry completely before reassembling. 7. Reinstall the ink pad and power on the printer.
