Yes, a loose or damaged print head cable can definitely cause error P22. Power off the printer, open the access panel to the print head, and carefully inspect the cable connecting the print head to the printer's main board. Ensure it's securely connected at both ends. If the cable appears damaged, it may need to be replaced.
